What If

Premiere 2022 Vienna - Austria

By answering the ‘What If’ question and bringing the answers to our daily and personal life, we achieve a connection with pathways and possibilities. We are searching within our bodies and within our motor actions for other possible movements and reactions that could exist in order to express our investigation and our research through our bodies.

The story

The piece was created during the summer of 2022 and premiered in October of that year at Das LOT in Vienna, Austria. Support was received from independent dancers and various institutions. Initially, this piece was developed for the program of the BLARE DANCE COMPANY.

We also received support from Bears in the Park, which granted us a creative residency, providing access to the rehearsal room and some scenic elements.

Additionally, we received support from the Federal Ministry of Vienna and WUK Performing Arts Vienna, who collaborated with us by offering rehearsal space.

In 2023, we remade this piece with a different cast and collaborated with Theatre Arch Vienna, who provided us the opportunity to perform it again.
