About Bety Pujol Cajal

Bety Pujol Cajal is a multidisciplinary artist originally from Argentina and currently residing in London, UK. Her specialized areas of work include choreography, performing, and teaching. She conducts artistic research to explore the relationship between conflict and connection in narrative-based artwork and dance theatre.

 

Bety holds a bachelor's degree in dance and a dance teacher's degree. She has also completed comprehensive training as a pilates instructor and has training in graphic design. Additionally, she has earned a postgraduate degree in cultural management and communication.

Bety has gained expertise in various dance techniques, such as Ballet, Contemporary Dance, Improvisation, Argentine Folklore, Tango, and Pilates, focusing on injury rehabilitation. She has contributed her talents to numerous dance projects in countries like Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Paraguay, Bolivia, Hungary, Spain, Denmark, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Sweden, Germany, Italy, and France.

 

Bety has created and presented five works of his authorship, which are The Cessation (2021), What If (created for the company Blare Dance Company in Vienna Austria in 2022), Chiaroscuro (2022), and Let Me Talk (2023). She was also developing SHADOW for the Young Dance Company of Tanz Die Toleranz in Vienna, Austria, which will debut in June 2023.
