Bety Pujol Cajal is a multidisciplinary artist, choreographer, and educator whose work bridges contemporary dance, classical technique, and embodied movement practices. Her choreography emphasizes individualized movement, physical sustainability, and authentic expression, blending autobiographical storytelling with somatic inquiry to create work that is both precise and deeply felt.

Between 2019 and 2024, Bety created nine original works and led over seven re-stagings, presented internationally in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Bolivia, Austria, and the UK. She has created work for the Youth Dance Company of Tolerance and Blare Dance Company, with presentations at the TanzTag Festival (2021–2023). Her studio-based R&D practice integrates experimentation, improvisation, and somatic research, translating embodied investigation into compelling stage work.

From 2009 to 2014, Bety performed professionally with the Chaco Contemporary Dance Company in Argentina, appearing at prestigious venues such as Teatro Colón, and internationally at Teatro dell’Opera di Roma (Italy), Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía (Spain), Royal Danish Theatre (Denmark), and Theater an der Wien (Austria).

Bety’s training in ballet, Tango, and Argentine Folklore informs her choreographic language, blending classical structure with contemporary freedom. She holds a BA in Dance and a certification in dance teaching, is a trained Pilates instructor specializing in injury rehabilitation, and has completed postgraduate studies in cultural management and communication. Currently, she is pursuing a personal training certification to further enrich her interdisciplinary approach.
